User Acceptance Test AERIUS Calculator (2013)
In May 2013, a User Acceptance Test (GAT) was conducted for the AERIUS Calculator, organised by the AERIUS team and the Joint Management Organisation (GBO) of the Association of Provincial Authorities (IPO). In the course of one week, dozens of users on five locations throughout the country tested the functionality and user-friendliness of the instrument.
In addition to the User Acceptance Test, the GBO also conducted a Functional Acceptance Test (FAT) for the AERIUS Calculator.
On the basis of the GAT and FAT, the GBO concluded that the application of the AERIUS Calculator has been designed very carefully and thoroughly, and has been developed and tested in an exceptionally thorough and accurate manner. Users have indicated to be highly appreciative of the AERIUS Calculator and would be eager to use it in actual practice. The degree of acceptance, thus, is very high. GBO has issued a positive advice with respect to taking AERIUS Calculator into production and management.
All errors found during the User Acceptance Test have since been solved or are in the process of being solved. New elements mostly relate to functionality regarding the issuing of permits and are being or will be addressed by the AERIUS team.
